Soo… I just realize how much this trip could potentially suck… At least in the evenings… I’ve already expected to be alone during the day and am super excited to go site-seeing etc! And I knew I probably wouldn’t be invited to a lot of the events (it’s a business trip for Mike), but I am literally sitting on our balcony watching Mike hang out and drink with a bunch of people while I sit here by myself bc he thinks that most people weren’t allowed to bring their wives so he doesn’t want anyone to know I’m here…….. Even though his bosses gave us the okay.. So……….. This is gonna be fun.. Awesome.
I got my phone out to take a picture of my Maryland crab cakes and then somehow I ate them all except for this one bite before remembering that I wanted to take a picture of them.. So good!

I also had my first ever trolley ride along St Charles Street today… We ran out of time on both of our San Fran trips and I’ve just never been on a real trolley until today.. As cool as they are, the Austin dillo trolleys don’t count… ;) Very fun!
And I repeat- it is SO nice to finally be in a place that is warm! I actually sweat a little today- never thought I’d miss that… Hah..
Crawfish Boil today! I haven’t been to one of these in a long time.. And I’m not talking about some frat party boil where they throw everything on a table and let the flies dig in… This was good!
